Laxgalts’ap Sustainable Energy Resource Analysis

Through a mixture of site monitoring, community consultation and desktop analysis, the renewable energy resources in proximity to the Village of Laxgalts’ap were analysed for technical and economic feasibility. These resources included solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and biomass.

Anyox Hydro Feasibility Analysis and BC Hydro bid

Massif Energy acted as the third party representative and project manager for the Anyox Hydro feasibility analysis, cost development, and bid submission to BC Hydro. This included community consultation, structural and technical feasibility, energy modelling, cost modelling, and corporate structure development.

Pincher Creek Energy Education Program

Develop curriculum, conduct community workshops, and host events to build capacity within the community to understand their energy use and the opportunities that surround it.

Massif Energy is working on behalf of the Village of Laxgalts’ap with renewable energy developers to identify and pursue opportunities for sustainable energy development. This includes community consultation, technical analysis and review, and project management.

Laxgalts’ap Climate Risk Assessment

Massif Energy is currently supporting the Village of Laxgalts’ap in undergoing a climate risk assessment and adaptation plan to identify actions required to address climate change into the future.

Pincher Creek Renewable Energy Conversion Review

Massif Energy conducted an analysis on existing renewable energy and transmission infrastructure in the Municipal District, providing an overview of potential for the future. This review also included public consultation on the sentiment towards renewable development, analysis of land use policies, and analysis of the tax impact on the region.
